Within the mining industry, a series of processes by areas were automated in a personalized way and tailored to the client. The incorporation of new technologies plus the development of computer solutions, had the objective of facilitating the work of employees, simplifying data handling and saving time and human resources for the management and dissemination of information, among others.
To achieve these objectives, work was carried out on a comprehensive project that included the implementation of software, chatbots and a mobile application to manage all the transactions carried out within each department. These solutions were designed based on the requirements of each area to offer solutions tailored to their specific needs.
The development of these projects was part of an ambitious plan that sought to improve internal processes to reduce manual processes and the errors caused by these.

01AI-based Bot Development
The development of chatbots to respond to the information needs of the company's employees was an imperative obligation of the client. Taking into account the requested requirements, bots based on Google AI were designed, configured and implemented, capable of -through an understanding of the natural language of users- answering requests through WhatsApp as a communication channel.
Without human intervention, the bots are capable of exchanging information on the health status of employees and collaborators, providing information on the PCR and antigen tests carried out; perform self-diagnoses and self-tests through surveys of simple questions on temperature and antibodies to detect possible cases of illness and send alerts in real time. In addition, they allow obtaining health or vaccination certificates in PDF documents previously generated and stored in an environment configured and modeled in the cloud.
Likewise, the implemented bots were designed to effectively automate all information related to employee travel; for example, the generation of trips (maritime and air) in real time, reports and statistics on them, the origination of itineraries and tickets for subsequent printing in a digital voucher sent to the applicant.
02Software Development
A software was developed tailored to the client's requirements that, feeding mostly on the information obtained by the bots, is capable of -on a single platform- providing statistical reports on health logistics and the status of patients and other staff. The tool, with different levels of administration and access, brings together in a single dashboard the metrics related to the occupational level of the rooms, the total number of classified cases, the patient's status, the origin of the disease and the vaccination status, among others.
It is also able to provide information on daily controls and historical data with applicable filters by date and characteristics. With the same functional requirements, it is possible to obtain numerical data on generated travel itineraries, tickets and travel vouchers; including extraordinary tours outside the agenda.
03Mobile App Development
The development of a mobile application covered an important aspect within the client's requirements in the incorporation of the automation of its internal processes. An IOS and Android version mobile application was designed and implemented, where the company's employees and collaborators can now access and book added services such as gym, cinema, barbecue restaurant, as well as obtain a map guide.
The application also includes a calendar for reservations by date and time, detailed information on services, schedules, activities, routines, tips, among others.
